ya it wasn't running 100% when i took that video. at that time we found out that his msd ignition box was fucked and it would stall if he revved it past 3000rpm. got it all fixed now, just waiting on his new hood and for the track to open. also he's got a shit load of nitrous in it as well.

It sounds nice when it's running :D

Although 10's might not be enough to keep up ;)

so when do i get to drive it ;)

Well first of all, any one driving my car will need to possess a NHRA Competition License and will then likely need to pay a considerable "privilege" fee to the cars main supporter, my Wife. :D

If both of those conditions are met then I am sure we can work things out. Now rides in the passenger seat can be done a lot cheaper. ;)

we will know soon enough how fast it is. i don't think he ever told me the exact horsepower he was pushing but we'll see how she runs when the track opens up here.

10's are nothing to sneeze at. Myself, I am just greedy because of all that this project has put me through. :werd07:

I really like the sounds of his Blazer. It makes me jealous as I wait for my car to come to life. :)

I stood behind a Firebird built by the shop where my project is, and when he started up the car I was smiling bigtime, just like when the cars started at the drag school last week. I just think about the sound and the smell of burning tires as I wait for 'my turn'. :)

The course was awesome. Within 3 hours of getting to the school I was in a 700+hp Firebird getting ready for my first pass. I finished the second day with 3, 1/4 mile passes at 148+ mph in just over 9.1 seconds per run. :D

I do have a thread here with photos of the school/cars/timeslips. Drag Racing School Pictures

That's me. Thanks for not using the closeup.

I am up in Vancouver, Canada, a couple of hours north of Seattle. We are looking to unveil the car at the 3rd annual WCCM.:D
