I see some of you guys are getting 40+ mpgs. I can't get mine to average over 30 with gas conscious driving and more than 50% highway.

What have you guys done to increase your millage. (link to some how-to's or directions if available)

I'm fully bolted and tuned...

I'm also running premium gas as well... not sure if that has anything to do w/ it or not.

I've tried premium. I get 0 difference (millage or power), granted my car is a stock LS, so there's not much power there to begin with...but...yea. lol

I'm TUNED for premium... it's all in the tune bud...

you shouldn't run premium if you're NOT tuned for it...

aye...

:sorrysign:

Someone had recommended it to me saying it runs cleaner so it would help. I gave it a shot. Sorry if my lack of expertise annoys you. I do not mean to bother you guys. Just trying to learn a little here and there.

Well it's true... sorry man.

08+ LS,LT's are welcomed finally by HPTuners...

Lean the cars out some... add some timing equates to better fuel economy.

Also adding intakes, exhausts or anything to do with better flow helps as well... remember it's like a big air pump more air in and more out makes it run more smoothly.

:)

There is no way anyone is averaging 40mpg for a whole tank of gas.

Tuning will help as long as you turn up the timing and ask for less commanded fuel.

Your best bet would to be INCREASE the PE delay as well.
