since you have experience with cams, i was wondering if i had to get aftermarket cams. i was told since i have dual coil valve springs it might be too strong for the stock cams and they couple possibly snap under too much pressure. is this true or not?

stock or cam comp are strong

are you full ferrea valvetrain (seat retainer spring)?

it should be fine. the part i believe can fail it the roller.

here a picturees of a roller.
roller from saturn 05 are cast iron. the other year or ''pressed'' instead to be cast iron.
that can be a fail for you

a roller make the link between cam lobe and the spring.
it works as a lever.
roller cast iron is light gray.
roller pressed is more beige.
have titanium seat and retainer give less weight to move = hp gain and no lost in TQ.
a lighter rotation part like a pulley or a flywheel = +hp but -tq.
