i say to remove the lower grill inserts, or cut the bumper to make them more...well not covers...or paint the part behind it black to hide a bit more...

The lower grill covers werent what I thought they were gonna look like... I may take them off and and paint the black.

werd, cut out the stock lower grills and put that mesh inside the holes. it would look 100% better.

I wanted a nice tip and all they had at the muffler shop was that one. It was 60.00. It makes it sound good though.

I buy everything off of ebay. It wasnt alot like 40.00. Just be careful it scrated my bumper installing it cuz its an overlay. I had enough wax on it I was able to buff the scratches out.

those grille inserts are hideous!!!!!! take em off and throw them away!!!! so you mean to tell me that the tip you got on gives it a nice sound?? that looks like stock muffler tho. i dont see how you get a nice tone or sound with just a tip??!!

Grills: remove is my vote. Tip was it clamp on or what do you have other exhaust mods?

A tip will modify the sound wave coming out so yes a tip can change the sound the exhaust: Hence Resonated tips.
