The ones in storage are gen 1 with 55w 6000k bulbs. Output and spread is worse than yours but better than stock housings. I'll see about getting a picture tonight.

Honestly Bass is a great deal. Anything cheaper is going to be the halogen housings made in China. You can build a set yourself for a decent price.

As in stock lighting I mean stock halogen bulb in our stock headlights. Nothing else. I love the way retros work. And the light output you can't beat them. Its the best. I even made retros for my girls altima.

Been trying to convince myself to build a set, have a spare set of headlamps without the lenses. The reflectors don't match and I'm starting to think that'd bother me.

The lenses are the important part Haha. The rest can be painted to match

And I hope you mean you have the lil yellow shield in the reflector for the turn signal. Those pop out. I use it to paint the housing black and leave the turn signal chrome. Gives it a clean cut .

They're completely stock, just missing the big clear plastic lens that covers the front of the housing. Pulled them off to stick on the 1st gen headlamps as those ones were peeling.

I'd still need parts to go in them. Gonna be a while waiting on that.

That's the projector of the gen headlight. Its not even a projector. Its just a reflector. And as you can see it has a nipple look to it. Its not wide or shaped right to give that even spread of light. This is what gives the light intensity at night. All depends on this glass piece

Yes and I still have to test them. I repainted them from blue to black. Cuz turbo swap don't come cheap. And yes morimoto hid kit and bulbs and harness.

Are those pics after the repaint? Ill be honest.. Those lenses look scratched up and i still don't quite understand how the projectors on that site for 250 arent as good as the retrofit . plus those are new and come with halos.... ?

Lenses aren't scratched. Just normal wear and tear. I mean Ur not obligated to buy mines. Feel free to purchase the gen projector headlights. Like ton of ppl would say. Retros is the way to go. But are not cheap.

I may still get yours.. Just confused on why retros are better. Thought projectors would be all the same.. Just the big deal isnt putting hids in stock housings... Sorry if im being a pain .. Just trying to learn
