damn man you're making things difficult lol the MOST this should cost you is 700 bux if you buy new springs and new strut hats and such .. i did my hole setup for like 500 and i bout new springs, new strut hats and everything as well but i got a deal on my struts and shocks so idk how you're geting to 1k hell at that price just buy B&G coilovers if you think its goig to be that much lol

k so say i just want to put springs on do i need the cobalt parts from the cobalt fe2 or fe5 suspension

Why bother with springs from a cobalt? If you are going to bother to do a strut hat swap like that, then get pedders.
