1. What is the best way to remove mudflaps? EDIT- Cut them off with scissors.

2. How can I cut off the front bump stops without removing springs or moving struts?

3. Can I just cut the rear bump stops while spring is still on?

4. Should I get 225/40/18s? [Right now Im riding 215/35/18s]

1-tin snips and random orbital sander
2-have to come off cause its around the strut inside the spring
3-MAY be able to get in there but its quick and youll have to jack it up anyway, so take it off
4-yes, way better ride and traction, i would say go with 225-45-18

I don't know about the last three questions, but I can certainly answer #1. Just back up over a curb/sidewalk. Invariably that has happened to every car I've ever owned with mudflaps... :hahano:

225/45/18 :) put some meat on them tires...and the front bump stop u have to disasrmble the strut to get to, I left mine alone, no problems here, the rear u can get to with springs on if u use a hacksaw

The rear depends if u have coil bind in the bottom or top, u may have to atleast Jack the car up

WRONG!!! I did not take my springs back out to cut the bumpstops.Lift the car in the air, move the dust boot and youll be able to move the bumpstop out of the boot and cut it with tool of choice.tis how I did mine

Is this with the front?!

The reason I dont wanna take the springs off is because I just got an alignment yesterday. 85 dollars!

Yes with the front.still typing hold on

when lifted in the air you can move the boot around. You are able to push the bumpstop out through the boot and I used a big pair of wire cutters to cut them while they were still around the strut.Disassembly is NOT required to cut the bumpstops

Thank you! I knew there was a way somehow.
The boot is the thing covering the bump stop in the front, correct? Plastic?

Sweet, big help! Preciate it man!

Ill be sure to cut them.
And the rear, you can just see the bump stop as you jack the car up?
Even easier right?

How did you measure cutting the bump stops? Rough estimate?
