My new Fuel economy record

I just got my best fuel economy. 365miles and 10.2 gallons of gas=35.7mpg

I have and auto transmisson and this is on my trips back and forth to work for three days. Its about 59 miles one way to work and its a mix of country roads, freeway, and City streets.

hate to say i've got you beat. then again i've tuned for better gas millage and try to get 16.0 afr while cruising with less than 30% throttle that is what my car is trying to get then once i go wide open throttle trying to get 12.2 afr

wait this isn't even my section we have different cars. my bad. keep up the good work. if you can tune your car and get a wideband you can get a lot better gas millage if you want by tuning for it.

I can get better than that but like I posted its a mix of back country roads, Freeway and City combined. I'm sure if I just ran it on the freeway I would be higher and its not from the DIC either. PS my car is tuned by Trifecta which isnt really for mileage but its helps a bit.

27-28 MPG

30 MPH average speed...

Freeway...
35-38 MPG
405 miles/tank
75 MPH average speed...

I hit 40 in the cobalt on a road trip last year to houston. I was running 70 mph.

mine is like... 28-30 mpg. i think it has to do more or so with the way i drive and how evyerthing is a freakin nighborhood around here with lights everywhere

I seafoamed my car then took an hour trip and it jumped to 38mpg from 35

mine shows...24.6, 80%highway, 15% WOT, 5% city i do a lot of WOT on the highways on the way to work...i l ike hearing the whine in 5th as i drive down the highway

What are some way's to tune the car to get better fuel economy. I see a bunch of junk on ebay claiming to boost +40, anything anyone would recommend?

i think trifecta can tune for mpg instead of whp. since we are 2.2s no HP tuners

mine was a trip to mobile. got 40mpg. used 1/2 a tank to get to interstate 10

We hit 40 mpg on the gauge in the dash on our trip to the hard rock cafe in downtown dallas. Roughly 50 miles from my house.

Right now I am still using the same tank of gas that I filled up lst January. It just won't run out.

New update same run 36.6 mpg actual mileage (Not the DIC reading either.) Its a three day average of three trips to work and back.

358 miles and 9.78 gallons.

this past weekend on my way to STL (about 260 miles) I was getting 40 mpg... at 75 mph/average

Spinger do you have an auto trans?
When I get on a flat section of highway my dic will read 40 and up. But the route that I take to work is 60miles one way and its a mix of City, Country road, and Highway. Plus its by no mean flat its all hilly so I think to get this as actual mileage is pretty darn good.
