here is 2 short vids of me doing auto-x in my ss/tc, i am doing open lapping at Straotech this year(the RCMP course). I hope to prove my worth as a driver and the ss/tc as a potential track car.

Hey Steve... Im just back as a sub contractor.... I quit this company in Oct 09 and well been away for 6 months... Im basicly on a trial run and if things look good/ i dont screw up i could be fulltime again by March 15th.

I will be in Edmonton on the 24th with the redline ( driving around in the winter on summers still lol )

it's not easy, it does take some time to get adjusted.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i've never done it b4, tho i promise i can operate anything with very minimal training, if u come across anything let me know ASAP as i am trying to get into heavy equipment operations to help support my goal of turning my ss/tc into a track whore.

Pretty well the only ways of getting in are if you know somebody at the job, went to school for it, experienced enough, or start out as a laborer. Good luck though, lots of people looking for any spot open so the companies can somewhat pick and choose who they want right now.

yea that's pretty much what i figured, nobody gets a job without having friends in high places anymore, i think all the assholes who decided to not hire anyone without having a friend within the company needs to be shot in the streets, fucking sick of not being able to get a decent job without knowing 10000000000 different ppl.

different industry, unless you've done heavy equipment operations, and then i would ask where, if in Sask only I'd say that's just how the market is over there, but here in Alberta if u don't know ppl u will never get a good job.

FYI, to date about 95% of my jobs I got by myself too but none have been of any significance or career oriented. I was only ever "handed" 1 job in my life from a friend who was working at a dealership and knew there was a position open for me and they hired me on his recommendation.

ya we will be figuring all that out here in the coming weeks but mission raceway seems to be the favorite among everyone so there is a really good chance that that is where it will be. i will leave it up to the person who is gonna be setting everything up to figure out what will be available to us and how much its gonna cost us.

I would like to help push towards gettin some lapping time at this meet, even if we have to share it with perhaps a local racing club from mission to keep it cheep enough? I am willing to put in the hours in trying to arrange this, just give me the word and I will start searching for way to accommodate some lapping time or at the very least an auto-x course, SOMETHING other than just boring 1/4 mile racing.
