Anyone in dallas or close have a extra set laying around that there willing to sell or let me borrow for an hour to pass. I see the sets new on ebay are going for $70 shipped which is alot just to pass inspection each year.

Yup it really sucks. I'm moving to Florida at the beginning of next year and they don't have inspections there so i wont have this problem. Its just until i move, i need to get a new inspection sticker so i don't get pulled over. Its funny that i have never been pulled over for my tails but i cant pass inspection. These laws in Texas are stupid. I came from Michigan and we didn't have none of this. I am even thinking of just getting the led tails and just selling my blacked out ones. I have until the end of the month before my current inspection expires. IT sucks!

how much would you want though since i would have to wetsand all that tint off. I mean like stated above, i could just remove the tint from mine and then get another can of nightshades locally for $11. I have until the end of the month to get my inspection to pass.

might just wet-sand mine down. Can you pm a price as if i were to drive there as i have a friend from Dallas who travels to Houston weekly for his job and might be-able to pick them up for me.

yup it sure is gay. Last year i had a friend here that let me swap his on just to pass the inspection but he moved so now i have nobody and of course they failed me. It sucks because i plan on moving to florida next year and they don't have inspections. I really hate to buy a set to just pass inspection as thats just more car parts laying around. I already have my stock mirrors, my 17" rims/tires, stock intake in my little apartment.

in wv there is no fine but they put a rejection sticker on and you have to get it fixed in 12 days or you cant drive it

yes i am in failed mode in the system and if i don't pass by the expiration date then its like driving a car without insurance. Cops can tell by the color if its expirated and you will be pulled over for it and giving a ticket to show in court. It definitely is a gay law.
