well I do have an extra set my gf wanted the led ones in heres (you are a coupe right) if you want to pay shipping both ways you can do that or if you want to buy them name a price
Well my inspection expires at the end of this month so i doubt they would get here in time from canada but thanks for trying to help. To bad someone in dallas couldn't help me though.
Well here the first light i got sanded down. It took me about 45 minutes. I only did the front of it and thinking of leaving the sides black. I used 800 grit, 2000 grit and plastic x to make it shiny again and get out all the marks after the 2000 grit. I am not going to clear it yet until i decide what to do after my inspection. Does anyone know if i can leave the reverse lights black or the side lights are do they all have to be red. Here are the pictures.

haha just too funny. It really sucks that i have to remove this paint to just get a stupid sticker. I cant wait to move to florida and not have to worry about this stuff.

I would think you can leave the reverse lights, i dunno about the side markers though. nice job.
Hey thanks. I think there turning out pretty good. The only thing about the 800 grit is you have to wetsand it a lot as i think you can start with 600 for the top layer and then go to 800 and 2000. I need to find out if i need the side lights sanded too. I think it will look good with the lights red, the reverse black still. Im just going to play around with the idea. Its amazing how just sanding them off makes them look brand new again. So far i have $6 invested in sandpaper and my 45 minute time, lol.

im still wondering if i can leave my reserve lights painted. I finished both of the lights on each corner. Still wondering too about the running lights on the side of the bumper. i found this saying your only inspected on your outter 2 brake lights. Im wondering if this is true. This guy lives in austin, texas.
Well i just called speedy tires in alrington and they said all lights in back have to show red or they will fail me. THIS SUCKS.

CAN YOU give me a definite place that will pass me though and i could make the drive tomorrow after work. I cant believe they still wont pass me. I so hate this state.

yeah hang on, i think a phone number as well, its been awhile since mine was inspected they maybe a state wide crack down. maybe call first before drving down, say that they did my black sedan with darker tails then yours

Well i finally passed today. I left my reverse lights painted and told the guy thats how they came from factory when he asked me about them. He really looked at my rear blinker lights though and checked to make sure they all were working. I left my trunk break light the long one painted too. I will post a picture tonight of the look. Glad to see i passed finally.
