po1071 too lean

so i got that stupid too lean in bank 1 after putting on 2.4 intake manifold, what do u think could be causing it? im assuming vacuum leak but where/how

check your booster hose and all your gaskets.I.E. TB gasket,Manifold gasket.Take carb cleaner and spray it along where the gaskets are.If its leaking the car will start to misfire or wanna die
Also check your gasket fuse

that would cause it.. check the maf.. i change the air filter out one day and it threw that code.

but do you have a good idle? doe it act up weird at all?

no it idles FINE

when we first did it it musta got a little piece of dirt in there cuz it sputterred then musta shot it out cuz it was ok after 2 ta 3 secs of sputtering

reset the ecm and see if it comes back.

im gunna also check seals in gaskets tomorrow cuz i coulda swore the car had a turbo under the hood when driving a bit today

its a little louder.not that much plus if you had a leak you would idle like shit

Not always.Sometimes idle will kick up just a wee bit to where you wont notice.My buddys jeep did that.Then sprayed the intake manifold with carb cleaner and found out the intake manifold gasket was leaking

unplug ur battery for a good 15 seconds, will turn the CEL off...always worked for me in thepast i never did it for minutes run some seafoam thru it, see if it still does it

Its make a loud whistling today I almost garuntee one of the seals isn't seated r something

ug so i didnt remove the manifold this morning just the tb and sensors, idk what to clean sensors with, resetting computer made the light go away but now its back

so tomorrow i guess im gunna take off the whole thing and check every damn gasket idk ug

ok so tomorrow im gunna try cleaning the tb, the maf, the 02 sensors, anything else i should check? if that dont work im gunna take off whole manifold and replace gaskets, everything seems fine currently other than that code. :-/

ok so its actually po1071 too lean in bank 1.

only thing i havent done is replaced/cleaned the o2 sesnor

ive cleaned maf, unplugged battery, replaced gaskets, checked couplers, anything else i can do? i think i read check spark plugs somewhere. but not sure

how many km's are you and when was the last time you had a tuneup? or changed fuel filter

never changed the fuel filter and idk when i last had a tune up to be honest
