I'm not sure, but more than likely, yes. I don't know the bolt pattern on the Trans that they put into the Pontiacs, but it is basically the same as they put in the Turbo Saabs... which is basically the same motor as the LSJ.

You're gonna run into problems with mounts, fitting it (honestly... our engine bays tight enough, as is), and then having custom made axles.

A great idea to think and nothing is impossible i guess. If anyone can make it much better for us to see the result but i think there would be some sort of problems with fitting other parts.

finaly a palce where there are people just as disturbed as i am! i came up with the same idea about putting a Grand Vitara H25A 2.5L DOHC V6 in my Forenza, but i got rid of the Forenza before i could even think of planning the swap. it would be very expencive and labor intencive, but with a ton of custom work and some modifing it could work. won't be easy, but it would work and it would be a show stopper

the g6 is a delta body. drop your g5 cradle, raise your g6 cradle. bolt it in and wham-o. only thing is getting a manal tranny bolted up. you guys know they make the cadillac srx with a 2.8 turbo v6 now?
